To see the police leading native americans, like sheep into their vans, turns my stomach.
I don’t think voting is going to do any good. The politicians are put in office with money from big biz.. they will do as they are told. And so will the police. We are all puppets.

I agree with you, Mr. Clayton with exception to the last sentence. We are not all puppets. We still have our voices. We still can choose to decrease our own dependence on fossil fuels. We still can choose to not subscribe to the powers of greed and “need” to consume, consume, consume. We can gather with “brothers and sisters” who feel as we do and are choosing to make a difference. You have already done that just by joining in this conversation. I sense that your “puppet strings” are already being cut. :-)

And so very many native nations’ people worked tirelessly for Obama ’08 to be our leader and so very many are waiting for him to standup for justice as this video document demonstrates. C’mon Barry…Be Wise — Organize…deny the Keystone XL building permit and just follow the leaders you see in this video!

President Obama, You community organizer… you must know that in Indian Country one must express good relationship and respect by simply stepping forward and shaking hands with the good people on whose land you are visting and in whose air you are breathing and from whose waters you are drinking. So why in the world did you not walk out your front door and shake the hands of these people on your doorstep who are most assuredly your friends and your hosts?

As a proud descendant of the European tribes, and as one who has returned to the way of my people, I stand in support of indigenous people everywhere. May men and women of all tribes stand together in defense of the Earth.
